Thin rod

An ivory thin rod covered with a thin spiral-shaped ornament. The quality of preservation is good. On the surface, there are traces of dentrites (or black paint -?).



Manufacturing technique

The surface of the item is treated with a push-plane. Longitudinal scratches are found; the ornament is made with a knife worked in one direction. 


Use-wear traces

Use-wear traces are evenly distributed over the surface, at the tips there is a large smoothing which covers the ornament (about 1/3 of the item).
