Thin rod (with traces of red paint)

A thin ivory rod (stud) with transverse thin cuts (both with closed and not); on the surface in the central part of the item, a very thin trace of pink pigment was found. The quality of preservation is good. 



Manufacturing technique

The surface of the item is treated with a push-plane. Longitudinal scratches are found; the ornament is made with a knife worked in one direction.


Use-wear traces

Use-wear traces are evenly distributed over the entire surface, at the tips there is a large smoothing, which covers the ornament (about 1/3 of the item).
