Classical sculpture (without breast, flat)

The statuette was found in a dwelling with 370/751 and 370/750 ones. It represents a female figure with the usual three-membered division, devoid of fine details. The head, which is almost equal in size to the chest, has a flat face with a slightly detached headgear. The chest and abdomen are flat, with slightly outlined arms at the sides. Abdomen contoured converging at an angle with deep lines. The legs are also separated by a deep and rather wide (up to 2 mm) trait. The bottom of the legs is slightly broken. Despite the flattening of the statuette as a whole, the ischial part is raised in the same way as on the other statuettes. Behind the legs also shares a deep line, however, not reaching to the very bottom.

Manufacturing technique

The forming of the surface is not clear enough. In the area between the legs, made with a cutting tool, the sides of the channel are smoothed. The channel is cut deeply, deeper than the other details. Dividing the legs with the channel are not finished from the front side and from the back side. The contour of the hands is made with a burin. The contour of the head and the shoulders is made with a planning knife. The indentation under the neck is made with a knife worked as a saw (reciprocating motion). The face contour is made with a cutting tool. We have noticed an attempt to form facial elements - nose and eyes. The popliteal fold and the buttocks are made with two transverse lines. The back of the head has traces of working with a cutting tool. They form a hairdo (hood).
